Voting is now closed!
This month's winner of Pick My Flick is The Hundred-Foot Journey!
Welcome to this month's Pick My Flick, where you get to help choose a movie for me to watch and review. I'm currently planning on seeing 6 movies this month in theaters, and it's up to you to choose between the top remaining choices and determine a 7th film for me to watch. August might just be this year's most stacked movie month, with several huge movies coming out to wrap up the summer. For this reason, there are actually a record number of 8 nominations this month for you to vote on. May the best film win!
New to Pick My Flick? Here's a little break-down of the rules:
- Voting begins on the 1st of every month and ends on the 20th day.
- The movie with the most votes at the end of the 20th day wins!
- In the event of a tie, I'll set up a 24-hour sudden death round.
- If I'm unable to find the winner in local theaters, I'll watch the runner-up instead.
- I will not vote myself. It's all up to you!
Hint: You can vote on multiple devices, and the poll only remembers your IP address for 1 week, which means you can vote once per week, per device (PC, cell phone, tablet, iPod, etc). So if you play your cards right, you're able to vote up to 3 times per device. It's a good tip for you to know if you're determined to make your movie win. ;)
These are the movies that I'm already planning on watching and reviewing this month
(and are therefore not included in the poll):
Guardians of the Galaxy, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Expendables 3, The Giver, Sin City: A Dame to Kill for, and If I Stay
