Voting is now closed!
This month's winner of Pick My Flick is The Purge: Anarchy!
Pick My Flick
(July 2014) Welcome to Pick My Flick, where you get to vote on one extra movie per month for 5 Minute Movie Guy to view and review while in theaters. I have already selected this month's films that I intend to watch, so you'll be voting between the remaining options. Not every single movie that comes to theaters will be included in the poll, but I'm making sure to give you a wide range of popular options to choose from. If you feel like I have mistakenly overlooked a film, let me know in the comment section below and I'll try to make things right. Here are the rules:
- Pick My Flick voting will begin on the 1st day of every month and will end on the 20th day.
- The movie with the most votes by the 20th day will be declared the winner, and will be watched before the month's end.
- If the winner can't be found in local theaters, I'll watch the runner-up instead.
- In the event of a tie, I'll set up a 24-hour versus match as a tie-breaker.
- I will not vote myself. This is all up to you! May the best film win!
These are the movies that I'm already planning on seeing and reviewing this month
(and are therefore not included in the poll):
Earth to Echo, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Boyhood, Wish I Was Here, Lucy, and Hercules
