Pick My Flick
(June 2014)
(June 2014)
I am introducing a new monthly feature at 5 Minute Movie Guy known as Pick My Flick. As originally promised, I am going to allow you, the people, to vote on one movie per month for me to watch in theaters. From now on, I will be making a Pick My Flick post on the first of every month, where you will all get to vote on which movie you want me to see and review. Included in that post, I will give you an outline of all the movies I'm already planning on seeing that month, and I'll make a poll with the remaining choices. Not every movie in theaters from that month will be in the running, but I'm gonna try to give you a wide variety of options to choose from.
- The movie with the most votes by the 20th of the month will be declared the winner, and will be watched before the month's end.
- If the winner can't be found in local theaters, I'll watch the runner-up instead.
- In the event of a tie, I'll set up a 24-hour versus match as a tie-breaker.
- I will not vote myself. This is all up to you guys.
Movies I'm already seeing and reviewing this month:
Edge of Tomorrow, The Fault in Our Stars, 22 Jump Street, Jersey Boys, Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Pick My Flick nominations (June 2014):
I'm adding Maleficent and Neighbors to the nominations for this month even though they came out last month because there aren't a whole lot of choices in June and those 2 movies are still playing frequently in theaters. Here are your nominations:
