Welcome to Pick My Flick, where you're given the chance to vote on one additional movie for 5 Minute Movie Guy to watch and review each month. I will provide information about each nominated film, as well as links to trailers you can view, in order to help you make your decision. Below that, you will find a poll where you can vote on your selection. I sincerely appreciate your participation and hope you'll enjoy having the opportunity to help decide what movies you think I should see! Thank you!
Here are the rules for the Pick My Flick feature:
Here are the rules for the Pick My Flick feature:
- Voting begins on the 1st of every month and ends on the 25th day.
- The movie with the most votes at the end of the 25th day wins!
- You must vote in the poll for your vote to count. I will not accept comments as votes.
- In the event of a tie, I'll set up a 24-hour sudden death round.
NOTE: You can vote on multiple devices, and the poll only remembers your IP address for 1 week, which means you can vote once per week, per device (PC, cell phone, tablet, iPod, etc.) on the movie you want to win.
I promise to try my best to make good, competitive match-ups for the polls, since I certainly don't want the results to ever be completely lopsided. Additionally, I have no intention of neglecting popular films just because I may not be interested in them. If I'm not already planning on watching such movies, then you can be sure they'll get a fair chance in this feature. Lastly, I will never vote in the Pick My Flick polls myself. Considering that I get to decide which movies I'm going to see and which ones you get to vote on, that would be incredibly unfair, so the outcome of this feature is all up to you. Vote wisely, and may the best film win!
