Lonely Island, the musical comedy trio of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Toccone, have joined director Judd Apatow to produce a full-length feature film. The hip-hop comedy group is best known for their musical skits on Saturday Night Live. According to Time, Andy Samberg, Akria Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone are set to star in the film, with Schaffer and Taccone to also co-direct alongside Apatow. The three of them previously worked together on the film Hot Rod, which Schaffer directed.
