 Source: SlashFilm | Marvel and DC aren't the only ones dropping exciting future film news at Comic-Con this week. It has been announced that King Kong, the mighty movie monster, is coming back to the big screen in a film called "Skull Island". Teaser footage was shown to a private audience, which has been described as showing an island full of lush jungle terrain, as well as monkeys and other creatures. The footage concluded with a shot of a cave in the shape of a skull, and then the title "Skull Island". The movie is set to hit theaters on November 4th, 2016. While little is known about the film at this time, I certainly hope this news could lead to an eventual rematch between King Kong and Godzilla. Fingers crossed! |
